Excellent .. beautiful quiet experience.. stafff soooo nice

Lovely location overlooking a beautiful lake. The honeymoon tent was nicely decorated and was kept very cool with air conditioning. The staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helped where they could. Tommy gave us a great safari game drive. Food in the restaurant was delicious.

EXTREMELY overpriced. There was no manager on site which was disappointed when we had an issue. Cooking demonstration is oversold so do not do this unless you are happy to stand and watch for 20 minutes while the chef cooks. No bathroom door in the honeymoon suite so not the most romantic experience. Air-con doesn’t turn off so I’m not sure that this resort is as ‘eco’ as they imply. Perhaps this resort is better in peak season but we were extremely underwhelmed. When we spoke to management about this after leaving via email (because there was no manager on site) they just dismissed our claims. We travelled a long way for the experience of a lifetime and this doesn’t come close unfortunately. Lots of great reviews though so perhaps we were just unlucky!

A really special place, by a lake, with beautiful views and the sounds of nature around. Food was very good, especially the breakfast. Bed was really comfortable and the room (tent) dark. Staff were very helpful including by providing an enormous packed breakfast.

The meals were great and staff were very attentive. My family greatly enjoyed our stay. A special thanks to Waruna! We also loved the massages by Sureshika!

Great Hotel. Particularly happy with the service provided by Sampath. Amazing manager. Hotel is really peaceful and well equipped. Tent are nice and provides a great experience. Food was good also in the restaurant. Great place to stay if you want to do the safari around.

Minor thing to take into consideration. We had some loud music from the town or the hotel around. Stops at 10 pm. A bit annoying when you need to wake up early for the safari the next day. Nothing bad just worth mentioning.

really friendly staff!! they went extra mile for our kid’s birthday, made a super special surprise with the cake and baloons. The tent was also really good, all the facilities you need were there. Such a peaceful atmosphere, we didn’t want to leave. Definitely will come back!

The property is set in a picturesque location by a lake and with mountains in the distance. Our tent was clean and comfortable, though not particularly spacious. Dinner and breakfast were fine. Staff were friendly.

At times we felt like the staff weren't around when we needed them. In the morning there was a celebration for the New Year which involved traditional food and games. We didn't want to take part because we were leaving that morning (needing a quick breakfast!) and it was also all happening outside in 38 degrees. It felt like the staff really couldn't take no for an answer when we asked just to have a normal breakfast in the main restaurant - they agreed in the end but it was a very odd situation.
