Hotel River Front

I thought the hotel was a very comfortable and well designed place. The early morning take away breakfast was excellent as we were up and out early to go to the national park. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was excellent.

Being on the 2nd floor. As there were not many occupants i would have liked to be nearer the ground floor.

The cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Champalca and the staff were excellent and nothing was too difficult. Room was modern and had everything we needed.

Nos gustó mucho nuestra estancia. El hotel es muy bonito, limpio y cómodo. Nos sentimos como en casa desde el primer momento. La habitación era amplia y tranquila, ideal para descansar después de las excursiones. El personal fue excepcional, siempre atento, amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. Queremos destacar especialmente a Champalca, que nos trató de maravilla y hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún mejor. Sin duda, un lugar totalmente recomendable.

We had a perfect stay. Arrived early from airport and could luckily check in earlier. In the the afternoon we went on the safari ride organized from the Hotel. He was really amazing and his best to show us as much as possible. Back at the Hotel we had an amazing dinner with the best service we saw on our whole journey. Thanks Champaka you do an amazing job. The hotel was spotless clean and the rooms are beautiful. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en una de las cinco habitaciones renovadas del hotel cuyas fotos aún no estaban en la web. Son muy modernas y cómodas. El baño estaba genial y la cama era muy cómoda. La piscina estaba limpia y estaba muy bien. El servicio fue encantador. Nos organizaron el safari por la tarde durante 5 horas por un precio de 60€ por persona con entradas incluidas. Nuestro guía Chana nos recogió en el hotel y nos volvió a dejar en el mismo al terminar. La verdad que era una pasada como encontraba los animales en el parque, totalmente recomendable hacer el safari con él.

Por poner una pega, el gimnasio era pequeño y tenía pocas cosas.

This hotel was absolutely amazing I honestly can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless, and perfectly located just a short distance from Yala National Park, making it ideal for a safari trip. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of food to choose from. One of the highlights of the hotel is definitely the pool area overlooking the lake. It was incredible relaxing by the pool while watching crocodiles swim past and monkeys playing in the trees! What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. I have genuinely never met such lovely, welcoming people. Shara at reception greeted us with the biggest smile and arranged our safari for us, which turned out to be one of the best experiences ever. I specifically requested Channa as our safari driver after reading other reviews about him and they were absolutely right! He was fantastic, and thanks to him we were lucky enough to spot a sloth bear, which is incredibly rare, along with so many other amazing animals. Champaka also looked after me and my boyfriend throughout our stay and was always so friendly, cheerful, and welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, and he constantly made an effort to come and chat with us, which made the experience feel so personal and special. Another wonderful staff member was Sumith. Although he was unable to hear or speak, he still always came over to interact with us, and we had such lovely conversations through gestures and actions. It was genuinely heartwarming. Sumith and Champaka would even keep an eye out for crocodiles in the river and excitedly point them out for us to see! I don’t normally write long reviews, but our experience here was too good not to share. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Tissamaharama, book this hotel you will not regret it!

Un hotel exceptionnel. Nous avons été accueilli avec un tres bon jus de fruit. Le personnel a été exceptionnellement agréable, merci ! Une chambre propre, un restaurant d’une super qualité, nous y avons mangé deux fois et c’etait un régal ! Une piscine tres agréable 🏊‍♂️

We loved our one night stay here. The room was well equipped, the pool was fabulous and the breakfast was great. We also chose to enjoy dinner there and it was lovely. This was a great hotel and everyone was very kind and helpful.
