Yala Peace Cottages

This charming hotel is set away from all the hustle and bustle, surrounded by rice fields and near a lake. Don’t miss the short walk there—it’s more of a pleasant stroll—with countless birds, a breathtaking sunset, and wonderful explanations from a hotel staff member who also guided us on safari the next morning. His deep knowledge of nature and sharp eye allowed us to spot wild animals we would have otherwise never seen. A truly unique moment was watching a monitor lizard drink from the pool. The Rice and Curry is also highly recommended—authentic, plentiful, and delicious

Mooie en rustige ligging. Lekker eten. (ook diner). Vriendelijk personeel. Mooie avondwandeling. Zalig zwembad! Peaceful 😇👌. Hier zouden we zeker terugkomen.

Fantastische host legt je in de watten, wat een fijne Sri lanka ervaring net buiten tissa. Goede bungalow, zwembad in de tuin. Kampvuur in de schemering Fijn eten, lekker ontbijt. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor een safari in yala.

Niet dicht bij t stadje , maar daar mis je eigenlijk niets aan.

Sia le camere che le zone esterne, soprattutto la piscina, richiedono manutenzione. Ma comunque in linea col prezzo pagato

Nice accommodation. They organized a safari in Yala National Park for us, which was great. The small swimming pool was also very nice.

The staff were friendly, though communication in English was a bit difficult.

La piscine est magnifique, et chaude, bien entretenue. Le repas du restaurant etait très bon Chambre spacieuse et lits avec moustiquaires

Een klein stukje paradijs! Rust, gastvrijheid, zwembad, en heerlijk eten! De gastheer had speciaal verse vis gehaald voor het avondeten. Hebben een leuke safari gehad, en nog een sunset wandeling!
