Hotel Fontana

Easy location to find and safe parking. Helpful front desk but not any other good points to mention. I had booked for three nights and there is a good road to Novi Sad.

I do not usually write bad reviews but I cannot recomment Fortuna. The hotel is old, dark and unwelcoming although the reception staff were helpful. My room was fine with good heating but one of the curtains was off the track. Also the bathroom was in very bad condition, half of the shower door was missing and black mould around the bottom of the shower tray. There was not a restaurant although there was a sign for a la carte and breakfast was only just adequate but not something to look forward too.

Convenient location for a conference.

On arrival we discovered our bedrooms were filthy. We showed the receptionist our dirty rooms and he agreed that it was not acceptable and said he would ensure cleaning would be carried out in the morning, but after 24 hours the rooms had still not been cleaned. We had stayed at this hotel in 2022 but things have seriously deteriorated since then and we agreed we will not return in the future.

Relative low maintainance level, especially in bathroom

Staff always helpful, specially the male staff at night. Breakfast was lovely Serbian style.

We asked to clean room everyday, we only got new towels in the bathroom, beds didn't make and carpet still dusty. Shower didn't have full door we got only half, water went out to toilet and floor.

We arrived early and the receptionist was very accommodating. Bike storage and a good breakfast.

We missed being able to wash our Laundry.

Exceptionally helpful staff. Rooms well-appointed and comfortable.
