"Great stay, great food!"

Clean and comfortable rooms, plenty of space. We stayed in Winster cottage, which was well appointed and had ample equipment for self catering. The pub is cosy and the evening menu has lots of choice. Food was great - would recommend the fish and chips! Breakfast was also very good. The views from the pub are fantastic. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Only a tiny thing but the outdoor area between the two cottages appears to be shared - it would be useful to know which part of the outdoor area belongs to which cottage.

"Our minimoon"

Beautiful accommodation set a little out of the way. Would definitely recommend to family and friends looking to go to the Lake District. And would definitely stay here again.

The inn was delightful. The rooms were very sweet. Our dog even got a welcome pack on arrival. The staff were incredibly lovely and the food was fantastic. Would stay again.
