Really welcoming and pleasant host. A nice building and an excellent breakfast. This is an excellent stopover on a journey south. Very secure parking place.

It is a decent walk into the town centre (15 mins), where most restaurants are.

Upon arriving you are at an unassuming gate and it looks like you are in the wrong place. However when the gate is opened you come into a lovely wisteria laden courtyard. The staff are magnificently friendly and helpful. and the property is an excellently restored farmhouse.

Nothing! Just wish I hadn't had to leave at five o'clock in the morning for the ferry.

The host, charming, graceful and welcoming. The breakfast spread generous and with good variety.

The hotel is definitely showing its age, decor and upkeep were lacking. The room was spacious enough but seemed cold and bare and lacked facilities (TV is tiny and there is no fridge). It was a chilly and there was no heating, i resorted to a double duvet.
