Nothing we could think of.....

It was very clean and well maintained. Close to downtown (within walking distance). It was quiet, comfortable and peaceful. If/when I go back to Eureka, I will definitely stay there.

The owner of this property is so nice and inviting!

There really isn’t anything not to love. It’s an older place like the majority of the places in Eureka Springs but it’s certainly clean and well kept.

Location! all the major attractions were only minutes away from the property. The person in charge (Chris) was very friendly and was accommodating towards our requests. Definitely worth the repeat

We were a family of four - mom, dad a toddler and an infant, which means bottle feeds and reheating food. an electric kettle and a microwave would have come handy. However, the friendly owner was gracious enough to let me use his microwave which I greatly appreciate.

It was close to the event.

The proprietor allowed an acquaintance check into my room without my permission and without me being present. He didn't verify any form of ID. He only asked for my phone number I was the only person on the list for the room, so basically a serial killer who knew my phone number could've checked into my room before I got there. Also the water temperature in the shower would change from hot to cold and back to hot on its own. The windows in the bedroom were so cloudy you couldn't see out of them and the couch cushions were so worn and flat that you could feel the frame digging into you.

The host there onsite was friendly, interactive & available.

We left a day early due to the power outage that affected pretty much all of Eureka Springs downtown, main hwy, and historic area. We waited it out as long as we could (about 5hrs) but headed on out. This is the reason for the "good" rating instead of excellent on the facilities portion which is no fault of Matterhorn. I have visited ESpr multiple times over the years and would consider staying here again if I did not stay in the historic area.
