I usually stay here but this time there was no water in the taps, and the walls are very thin so when someone left their TV on all night it could be heard from a few rooms away.

Location

It appeared thy this was a pub that had gone bust, been empty for a while, then reopened. The only problem was that it really was the bare minimum, yellow pillows, bathrooms that needed attention, building materials left around the property and things like over grown beer gardens which suggest a business that has been empty for a long time and should be brought up to scratch before reopening

We arrived very early at the property due to the fact that we were attending an event nearby. Manager was great & we were given a room within half an hour of our arrival even though it was a couple of hours before our official check in time. The staff were very friendly

The room we were allocated overlooked a very busy main road & roundabout so was unable to have windows open on one of the hottest days of year. Room was also very small I feel for price we paid, half of the bathroom the ceiling was only 5 foot from the floor due to sloped roof so a lot of area in there was unusable in it's current layout, shower wasn't brilliant water just dribbled out.

I loved the old beams and fireplace in my room.

A bit noisy but it’s a pub so to be expected

Location. The young man that checked us in was lovely, friendly and helpful.

Room needed updating ,no coffee and parking restrictions not clear.

My reservation was cancelled by the hotel, but I received no notification. There were a number of bike riders who had booked into the hotel who had the same experience.
