Perfect little space in paradise. Friendly stuff and everything was clean.

The bed is probably the most comfortable bed I’ll sleep on in my life. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom is small but well laid out and the semi outdoor shower is a treat during sunset. The private pool is a lovely addition. It’s well maintained and a nice way to cool off. It catches the afternoon sun so if you choose not to head out for the day you can still enjoy the weather from the villa. Akbar is a kind and hospitable owner. I was celebrating a birthday and upon entering the room I found balloons, banners, flowers and a lovely ‘happy birthday’ written in leaves on the bed. Nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a smile.

The floor boards were a little unstable in the room which made walking awkward. Some people have mentioned that it’s out of the way, but it isn’t too much trouble to get around if you have a bike - which Akbar will organise for you. There’s nothing to dislike about Java Wood!

Lovely owner who is very helpful & will arrange bikes etc for you. Private pool & comfortable bed.

The bathroom needs some kind of privacy screen as you can see each other on the toilet. Better fitting doors are needed as it’s only locked with a padlock & the mosquitoes get in easily.

Very good value for money. Room is tidy and spacious. Akbar is very friendly and helpful. You have your own private pool, that is just amazing

Would be nice to have a close bathroom without clear glass doors to have some privacy
