Helgrindur Guesthouse

Staff gentile e accogliente, camera pulita solo il terzo letto un po’ piccolo per una quindicenne. Il cortile interno della struttura ospita due piccole vasche di acqua calda temperatura differente con accesso diretto dalla porta esterna del bagno in camera ottimo per il relax. Posizione ottima per visitare il grande geiser!

Просторные уютные апартаменты, удобная кровать, парковка, тихий двор, удобное расположение. Есть кухня, большой зал. Заселение в любое время бесконтактное.

Все хорошо! Но если бы был лифт было бы вообще великолепно))) у меня было много вещей, а апартаменты на 2м этаже. Здание двухэтажное без лифта естественно.

Perfectly clean and such a comfy bed

Just Info on local restaurants was a bit outdated, so we didn’t know where to eat the first night. FYI. Go to harbour cafe

A cosy and comfortable one-night stop. The room had a lovely balcony (we didn’t get to use it but it looked inviting), streaming facilities which were perfect for unwinding after a long day on the road, and thoughtfully placed plug sockets on both sides of the bed — a small thing that makes a real difference when you’re travelling as a couple.

No stove, which is worth knowing if you’re planning to self-cater — most Ring Road travellers cook to keep costs down. There is a microwave but guests are prohibited from heating milk in it, which left me unable to make porridge in the morning. There was also a noisy boiler — particularly noticeable when hot water was running, but it seemed to make noise throughout the night too.

nobody cleared the sidewalk to the building from the snow. I almost fell a few times because it turned into solid ice. Never did get to see an employee
