Maischeider Hof

We stayed here while passing through from Frankfurt to Cologne, as the hotel is conveniently located close to the autobahn. There’s a parking area right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, making our short stay very pleasant.

The breakfast was not particularly good. The variety was quite limited. We also didn’t realize that many guests stay here with their dogs. I know that some guests find it very nice, but for us it was below expectations. To be fair, the hotel does mention this on their page, but WE MISSED IT. It was actually our first time staying at a pet-friendly hotel, and we were a bit startled when we came across dogs walking with their owners in the corridors. If you don’t like dogs or feel uncomfortable around them, it might be something to keep in mind before booking.

De prijs was super, zelfs met ontbijt

Zeer ruime kamer met zitgedeelte, goede bedden, lekker en volwaardig ontbijt. Hele aardige gastvrouw.

Meubulair heeft een verpouderde stijl, maar dit past bij het verblijf.

Goede, grote kamer. Met balkon/terras. Helaas geen gebruik van gemaakt door het weer. Maar heerlijk bed. Eten is goed, vooral de schnitzel.
