The Cedar Restaurant is open from Monday to Thursday for breakfast from 07:00 until 08:45 and for dinner from 18:30 until 20:30. If a formal meal is not required a bar snack menu is available. The bar snack menu will be available from 19:00 until 21:00. A bar menu may be available on Sunday evenings, subject to guest numbers. Please contact Ashorne Hill directly to confirm. Dinner is subject to availability at the weekends. Please check prior to arrival if you are considering this option.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. "Several qualities of rooms - beware!"

The main house & location

The heat in the accom block / original room. It would have been impossible to stay in the room. I returned to the reception & they gave me a different room with AC. At 21.45, why on earth did they not do this immediately. In the heatwave, they must have kbown the 1st room Was unacceptable.

Welcome was lovely , room was OK, breakfast was lovely.

Lot of walking due to size of the place , Shower was tad small and toilet had to sit side on as not alot of room , but value for money was fantastic , will stay again and recommend to others cheers

Beautiful house and grounds -which we had virtually to ourselves on a sunny holiday weekend. Staff were very helpful. Great bar and restaurant and outdoor seating area.

Minor housekeeping issue when we arrived, but fixed very promptly by staff when raised with them. Otherwise nothing.
