Jungle Vista Boutique Hotel

This location was perfect! Cozy, beautiful and within walking to so many things. The staff was the best. They were able to recommend places to dine as well as some very cool excursions. And…. The food! Outstanding!! We’ll definitely stay here again!

We had the jungle view room and got to watch the monkeys come past the window in the morning.

Not much - was pretty good, I wish it was closer to the beach 😅

Sleek, modern rooms with a kitchenette, view of the jungle and howler monkeys. Nice pools and tasty restaurant. Staff was kind.

Our room had a stale smell to it, which was noticeable when returning from outside. No big deal though.

Nothing! Everything was great!

The reception staff was great. We appreciated Monica's assistance in booking us with a fantastic tour guide to visit Manuel Antonio National Park, and also providing directions to get down to the beach. Danvier (sp?) was also super friendly and helpful. Our room was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the setting right in the jungle & saw macaws, capuchin monkeys, butterflies and agouti while sipping coffee on the balcony of our room or eating the delicious included breakfast in the restaurant. The pools were refreshing after a day of hiking around Manuel Antonio, and we appreciated the included parking and proximity to lots of great restaurants and shops (a quick, though fairly steep walk up the hill). We especially enjoyed Cafe Milagro.

The noise from the road (particularly the motorcycles) was noticeable from inside the room, even with the door shut and AC on. It did seem to stop during the night but would start up again in the early morning, probably as people were headed to their jobs. Not a deal breaker but worth mentioning.

The location and the staff was always kind with us. Monica helped us all the time.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of wildlife.

It was perfect.

Arrived 8:30 pm restaurant closed even though advertised open until 9pm. Room clean. Breakfast adequate, nothing special. Booked return shuttle to Airport, Daniel staff member told us that we couldn’t use the shuttle we came on but had to have a car and leave early because of landslides. Investigated further and discovered was a scam no landslides and he had an arrangement with his own car contacts, luckily we realised this. Sebastian was outstanding and sorted out.
