"Was okay"

Room cleaned each day. Decent sized room with air con tv etc.

After travelling for 23hours to the hotel I arrived at 5am. Got told check in was at 12pm so asked if they would allow me to check in early they said okay. I checked out a day early but paid for the extra night I wasn’t staying. They said I still had to pay an extra 40$ for checking in early. I explained that I’ve already overpaid as gesture of good will due to checking out early and was not told about extra on arrival. This turned into a 10-15minute argument with multiple people over the telephone.
