Noise. Water rushing noises are constant all day and night, like water is constantly rushing down through metal gutters in the room walls. The refrigerator makes noises all night like the condenser motor bearings are wearing out. The walls seem thin when you can hear your neighbors talking in their room. Other than these noises all through day and night, the room was clean, comfortable.
