The hotel was lovely for the short amount of time we were permitted to stay there.

The staff friendliness and service was shocking. I've never been asked to leave an establishment before and after reading reviews of other guests it seems to be something this management is quite prone to. Escalating a situation quickly and forcing guests to leave, even if the situation could have been easily resolved. In our case they put us in a particularly precarious position considering I am 6 months pregnant and have a four year old as well.

There had been an issue with the booking system and i wasn't expected, however i was quickly given a room. I was the only person staying there. The owners were very nice. As there had been no guests the pool was covered, but when i showed an interest the pool was uncovered, cleaned and a sun lounge and umbrella set up for me. I had done some hand washing and while i swam and relaxed, my washing was taken, laundered, dried and pressed. Even though i was not expected, i was made to feel very welcome

I didn't like that i had to disturb tge owner to get in and out of the property as the front gate was always locked. However, they didn't seem to mind and i felt very secure

Location. Just a few blocks from downtown and lake, modern hotel's design and staff also (They were very kind).
