It is a chateau/ state home. Grand building, beautiful location and grounds, lots to explore, there is a big forest and river that runs through, spacious private rooms with beautiful solid old timeless furniture that adds to the character of the place . Private. ideal for weddings. Crispy clean linen . I have mobility difficulties and we got a very spacious access room. Very comfortable beds. We slept very well . Very friendly staff and a bounty breakfast to keep you going.

It is a listed building, a chateau which I like very much. There is no heating in the bedroom. The heating is in the en-suite bathroom that heats the bedroom as well therefore at the start can be cold. it does warm up and we had plenty of cover, we slept very well. I suggest a mobile oil heater/ radiator
