Lage ist sehr schön

Das Personal und die Inhaber waren eher unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Grosse Auswahl. Lage war auch OK. Werde wieder dort hinfahren.

In der Dusche war die Handbrause leicht defekt ansonsten alles OK.

Die schöne ruhige Lage

We only stayed for one night - the room was spacious and clean. Balcony was spacious with a good view.

Booking.com stayed that check-in was from 15.00. The hotel said it was only from 15.30. But staff then did allow us to check-in at 15.00.

Dinners were very reasonable and every dish we tried was very good...traditional german food. Our waiter Cem (not sure I spelled that correctly), was excellent and spoke perfect english. Room cleaning staff did a good job and they were very pleasant. Convenient bus stop across the street with a bus that runs every 30 minutes into town.

The hotel is off the beaten path. We traveled from the US and finally arrived around 2 pm in the afternoon, notibly exhausted. There was a sign on the door that check in was not until 15:30 in the afternoon and everything was locked up. We persistently rang the door bell until someone finally responded. The door was finally opened and I was told it was their rest time, (in a very rude manner). Not very welcoming nor a good start to our stay! The room was two levels, with extremely steep steps going up to the bedroom. (Bathroom was on the first level, not a good option at 3am) Breakfast was not worth 12 euros pp. It consisted of coffee, juice, bread, yogurt, meats, cheeses and hard boiled eggs with no options to order anything else. Unfortunately. there is no where else around to get something to eat other than a very small grocery store across the street where you could buy a pastry. Bar area stunk badly of cigarette smoke and you have to walk through that area to get to the restaurant. Restaurant and bar are not open for lunch!
