Senses Havelock resort

Price what I've paid for the room doesn't match the expectations. The rooms were extremely small and very basic.

My stay at Senses Resort has been excellent, thanks to their outstanding service from the very beginning. Communication via WhatsApp was seamless, and they efficiently arranged my ferry transfers to Havelock, as well as a taxi and a visit to the Cellular Jail in Port Blair before my return flight. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. My room was spotless, with a strong WiFi connection and well-functioning air conditioning. The location is convenient, though not directly beachfront. Breakfast was decent, with the option of freshly made omelets—great for those not used to a traditional Indian breakfast. I would definitely recommend it!

The pool area would benefit from a few sun loungers. The restaurant’s entrance door needs better maintenance.

Very nice accommodation, lovely rooms and up market from ‘beach shack’ Small swimming pool which was nice. I need a little more as he walked away so he’s one.

run down, and littered scrub land - complete with piles of coconut husks and a grazing cow. Beach itself littered and very small real shame.

They dont have covered wardrobe

Good location. Good stuff. Bathrooms were large and clean.

Rooms were small for two people. Limited menu in breakfast.

Hotel Manager offered to book ferry tickets for us. Banking details were sent to us and we promptly paid. He messaged several times to advise that he never received our payment yet the money went off our account - which we sent proof of. At the hotel, we then had to pay again despite providing proof of previous payment and an additional 250 rupees was added first and second payment? Why were we not just advised to book online ourselves using our credit card?! Instead we are now 3750 x 2 out of pocket. We should only have had to spend 3500 rupees. This creates unnecessary frustration on a holiday. Breakfast was very average and disappointing. Warm, brown fruit and limited selection of options compared to other hotels in the same price range we stayed. Juice and coffee or tea is served in cups... No glasses or mugs creating unnecessary waste on the island. Checkout is also very early even when you arrive quite late the day before. We were not allowed a late checkout. Not even 30 minutes and had to leave promptly at 8 30am.
