"Einfach, aber sehr sauber"

Kleines Zimmer, aber sehr sauber. Ebenso das Badezimmer. Einfach, aber sauber. Bett war bequem. Klimaanlage. Waren nur für eine Nacht zur Durchreise mit dem Fahrrad. Durften die Räder im Hotel abstellen. Gemessen am Preis kann man sich nicht beklagen.

Location

The staff asked us to pay extra because the towel got dirty from kum kum (a common red powder worn by Indians). They claimed that the mark “won’t come off” and that it needed to be sent to laundry — which is strange, because isn’t every used towel supposed to be sent to laundry anyway, with or without marks? Their reasoning made no sense. If a marked towel must be laundered, does that mean unmarked towels are not even washed before being reused? That’s quite unhygienic if true. It sounded like a very poor excuse to charge guests unnecessarily. To make it worse, they didn’t provide any receipt for the payment, which is not acceptable at any level of hospitality — let alone a hotel that calls itself “VVIP.” The whole thing felt unprofessional and poorly handled. Hotels should expect towels to get dirty and have proper cleaning procedures in place — that’s part of the service we pay for. Charging guests for normal use, especially with such a weak explanation, is just bad service. - emailed and called earlier to request to check in earlier they said can. Once reach they say cannot and i need to wait - no fan!!! Only aircond (do they think VVIP hotel located in Genting /Cameron so no fan needed) - no iron .. u need to borrow from receptionist and return back once done - parking siapa cepat dia dapat - verrryyy limited tv channel - Overall, room ok service very bad!! I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and trains the staff to handle such matters in a more professional, customer-friendly way in the future.
