Rawdons Hotel & Brewery

Continental breakfast was delightful and more than enough, with an option for a cooked breakfast available at an additional fee. Dinner at the pub was spectacular, cannot recommend the team enough. Do take the time to explore the grounds or lounge in the library and really enjoy the atmosphere of the building.

Lovely gardens and nice trees, Gin and Beer tasting area make for a nice time passer. Dinner was nice.

Rooms are very "dated" like walking into 1950. We had to climb about 20 plus outside stairs to get to our room (didn't say at time of booking it was the case), The bathroom had cracked tiles, and the door was cracked too. The ceiling was repaired above the bed with screws. The breakfast buffet is "ok" but we ordered Eggs Benedict, it was the worst ever. Cold Sauce in a small glass bowel and we ordered " Soft eggs" which were hard poached. Very dry and cold so-called English muffins. Ham was horrible and cheap store-bought. I have many photos, but it doesn't help to attach as this place still gets a very good rating. Its not that one cant stay there, but other places with same rating is fantastic. Too expensive for what you get.
