The room was fabulous and the gardens … breakfast superb

Being older, struggled a bit with the spiral staircase but got the hang of it in the end!

Great food, lovely staff, great location.

WiFi in our room wasn’t great … being dealt with. Would like some outdoor comfy furniture/pool

It was a beautiful property with stunning fit out and grounds. The restaurant was lovely

The rooms were beautiful and well appointed but very small. It was tight finding space for our suitcases and the bathroom facilities felt like they were right on top of the bed. The only access to the rooms was up a flight of stairs which was a struggle with suitcases. No one came out to help on our arrival but they did help with luggage on departure. Even though breakfast was included they put a cap on what each person could spend ( 200 Rand). The breakfast was very ordinary however the dinner was delicious

Everything! What you see on booking is what you get. We stayed in a deluxe room with balcony the first 3 nights and in a standard room for the last 2 nights. We loved the interior, the beer tasting, the restaurant (great food, good wines) and above all a big thank you to Michele, Lizzy, Kayla, for the upgrade, the attention to details, the barteam guys for the fun we had at the bar learning Xhosa, and the full team for making our stay altogether unforgettable. We loved it and hope to be back soon.

The lack of privacy by the glass door separating the toilet from the room. A balcony to escape to would be nice 😊
