"Hôtel très propre mais vieillissant, mais avec une jolie vue sur la mer."

La piscine était agréable et la vue depuis la piscine et depuis le lieu du petit déjeuner est très jolie. Le petit déjeuner était correct (mais très sucré à notre goût). L’hôtel est très propre.

L’hôtel est vieillissant ainsi que la décoration. Notre chambre était au sous-sol donc elle était sombre et la terrasse était aussi en sous sol donc avec vue sur le mur et le bas des voitures. La chambre était un peu humide avec une petite odeur de renfermé mais cela est sûrement dû au fait qu’elle est au sous-sol.

"Non lo consiglio. Tornassi indietro, cambierei hotel."

Buona la posizione della struttura, situata a Kalamaki, distante 15 minuti in auto da Chania. Zona tranquilla. Colazione non male ma poca scelta, sicuramente migliorabile, consumata su un terrazzino vista mare. La camera (avevamo una superior matrimoniale) era carina e dotata di un balcone con stendino. E qui finiscono i lati positivi.

Per il resto, brutta esperienza. Quanto al bagno, era terribile. La vasca era stretta, con una tenda, presentava evidenti segni marroncini sul fondo di un tappetino antiscivolo che probabilmente tempo fa stava in vasca. Ma veniamo alla cosa per me peggiore: la pulizia. Abbiamo trovato un capello e dei peli in vasca, ai lati del lavello e paradossalmente appiccicati al muro in prossimità del wc e della vasca. Ve ne era uno anche sulle lenzuola. Essendo sera tardi, mi sono recata alla reception la mattina dopo per segnalare il nostro disagio; qui mi è stato assicurato che sarebbe stato mandato qualcuno di eccellente a pulire. Tuttavia, oltre al cambio delle lenzuola era stato fatto poco: il bagno era stato pulito superficialmente e alcuni dei suddetti peli erano ancora lì. Abbiamo dovuto toglierli noi! Da ciò deduco che la pulizia sia proprio scarsa in generale. Ma non è finita qui! Il bagno (oltre che di pulizia più approfondita) ha bisogno di manutenzione: c’erano perdite e ogni volta che usavamo la vasca o il lavello fuoriuscivano acqua e/o schiuma dallo scarico (allego foto). Ero così infastidita e a disagio che ho proposto al mio ragazzo di fare il check out in anticipo e cambiare hotel, ma abbiamo desistito perché avevamo già pagato. In più, i prodotti da bagno offerti, mi hanno irritato la pelle, quindi li sconsiglio a chi ha pelle delicata. Infine, il parcheggio privato era molto piccolo (meno di 15 posti auto) tant’è che noi abbiamo trovato quasi sempre pieno, dovendo parcheggiare in strada. Quindi una delusione, dato che avevamo optato per questa struttura proprio per la possibilità di parcheggio. Qualità non adeguata al prezzo pagato (tutt’altro che basso).

"Deeply disappointed and frustrated. Bad experience with the hotel manager."

Facilities, breakfast, location

The hotel manager. Wrong excursion has been booked by the receptionist. Both don’t admit their mistake. I lost 1 day of my vacations without receiving back a refund. I trusted the receptionist while booking Samaria Gorge trail but she booked an excursion to the beach instead. Afterwards, they told me that I was the guilty one because I didn’t check the destination name on my ticket while I just though that this name was the place where Samaria Gorge trail was beginning (from point A to B). I lost this day because I was prepared for the trail with my walking shoes and had absolutely nothing for the beach. As I explainers the hotel manager, my booking request was crystal clear, I repeated several times Samaria gorge trail and never spoke about à beach excursion, I even asked to the lady at the reception if the entrance fee for the Gorge was included, she replied me no, that it costs 10€ extra. This situation is an absolute nonsense and ruined one day of my vacations doing nothing. The manager has no empathy at all for customers, I just asked her understanding but she never stopped saying “you should have double check by yourself”. That’s crazy, everything happened like written above. I’m tired of this kind of inflexible and robotic manager who are unable to admit a mistake and endorse it (I only asked her 30€ compensation, the price of my ticket, and proposed her to book Samaria gorge trail for the next day but she coldly rejected the proposition, even though I told her that if accepted, I will book 1-2 nights more in her hotel, that for me the problem would be fixed, but it didn’t change nothing to her behavior). I deeply feel frustrated and stupid, I lost too much energy in this story which gave me a big headache and a lot of stress. Here attached, the photo of the wrong booking.
