Before i arrived at Luna Creciente, I sent a message with my arrival time, and received a reply saying that they accepted my arrival time. When I arrived at the hotel, the owner said they had canceled their account with Booking 2 days prior. The hotel did not have my reservation and they were full. However, they could find me a vacancy at another hotel nearby. This new hotel was a flea bag hotel - it was horrible - i was charged the same as Luna Creciente but I found out later was worth much less - 350 pesos. But most of the hotels were full in Huatulco that night and it was late, so I accepted this new hotel. The new hotel told me to pay Luna Creciente, which I thought was strange since I wasn't staying there. I contacted Booking to tell them what happened and Booking said that my credit card had already been charged AND Luna Creciente had NEVER canceled their account with Booking. I also noticed on Booking's website that the hotel was still advertising for months out. Booking tried contacting the hotel to verify, but they never replied. I'm sure you can surmise what the hotel did. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did.

Loved the location. 1 minute walk to zocalo. Staff were very helpful & friendly.

No Wi-Fi in my room. Only ground level in common area. They reused the soap and it had a hair on it. Towels were damp. Barking dogs at times.

Right in the action, near the main square. Room was big and pretty quiet.

Both fan and AC were so loud and broken down sounding that I couldn't sleep with them on. It's HOT in Crucecita so... also, no staff on site when I wanted to check out, so I went for a coffee and came back and still no one around. This was at around 9am, so not super early at all. Finally just left the key and went, as I had a plane to catch.
