Receptionist was always smiling and pleasant

Hotel needs a revamp in common areas. The emergency exits opposite our door was blocked with rubbish wood etc. No fridge in room. Bunk bed for kids.

The location was excellent for visiting Pompeii, Vesuvius and Naples. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and pleasant

It’s a bit tired and the pool was closed which wasn’t advertised!!

Just like everyone else reviewing the hotel we were surprised by the extra fee for using the pool. On top of that the pool were full, and we couldn't enter the pool area if we wanted to. After checking in we were informed in a message in Italian that we had to pay an additional fee for using aircondition in the room. I regret not reading the reviews from other guests before booking the hotel. I am surprised booking.com allows hotels to advertise with facilities where it isnt clearly stated an extra fee is charged for use of air conditioning and pool.
