Newer building.

Room was not clean. Lots of long black hair on the sheets and in the bathroom. Shampoo and body wash were open and almost entirely used. My room was right next to the reception, and it was very noisy up until midnight.

Firstly, I made my reservation using the hotel’s app, and subsequently, I called to confirm that my room assignment was successful. The manager assured me over the phone that everything was in order, and I could proceed with my booking. However, upon my arrival, I was surprised to learn from the receptionist that the room had been reserved by someone else at the last moment. This sudden change was quite perplexing. To compound matters, the receptionist became visibly upset when I expressed my dissatisfaction. She insisted that I accept an alternative room with two separate single beds, which was not the accommodation I had originally booked. As a guest, I felt disrespected and frustrated by this situation. Secondly, I contacted the manager again to address this issue. He apologized and promised to cancel my booking since I could not accept the alternative room arrangement. Regrettably, despite his assurances, the booking remained unchanged until I sent a follow-up text to remind him. Even then, there was no action taken, and my feedback confirms that my reservation had not been canceled. In light of these experiences, I regret to say that I did not receive the level of service I expected from your establishment. As a guest, I believe it is crucial to be treated with respect and professionalism. I sincerely hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure a better experience for future guests.

Friendly staff. Very accommodating. The place was clean and comfortable. The garden was well manicured. Just off of the main street and away from traffic.

we arrived and there was no power so could not check in , we decided not to stay and cancelled our booking , the place was way out of town up a back lane , very dirty and scruffy looking .
