Sunset Vista Lodge,Monteverde,Costa Rica.

1. The VIEW was amazing and sunsets were gorgeous. 2. We LOVED the swings on the balcony. It was so nice to sit out there and work or just relax. 3. The fireplace was a nice touch even though we never used it.

1. The bed is very firm and the pillows are flimsy. 2. There is no curtain on the kitchen window and you are blinded when the sun starts going down and in the morning. 3. The road up there is pretty rough. 4. When we checked in the host gave us a price that included a cash discount. When we went back the next day with cash, a different host refused to honor the price originally given.

The sunsets are simply amazing. And watching the sunset from the Jacuzzi hot tub was also just beautiful. Every night we made the conscious decision to be ready to relax and watch the sunset, which was a great way to end the day. A glass of wine and that beautiful sunset really is Monteverde. And the people from the community show up to watch it there too.

They are building another unit next door and the construction guys would take our parking spot, and were working when we were trying to enjoy the unit or take a nap, so that wasnt ideal

La vue est à couper le souffle, WOW! Très belle chambre qui offre la meilleure vue (#6). Propre et confortable, on a très bien dormi. À 5 min du centre ville de santa elena en auto.

Wifi qui capte mal parfois.

Nice amenities & amazing views

Got very hot with all the windows left uncovered before check in, & no AV to help cool down. Also power went out periodically.

Awesome view. Super friendly hosts. 5 minutes drive to the city of Monteverde with many bars and restaurant options. The lodge was very well equipped. Comfortable beds.
