Hotel is a stunning location and the wellness area was good (and they were relaxed about wearing swim wear which was good for us as some other hotels are strict that swimwear is not allowed which doesn't appeal to us). You could get a bus to the ski area, but we drove as we had a car.

This is a very 'traditional' hotel, to the point of being outdated. We got a frosty reception when we asked for a drink at 10pm - there is no real bar area so you are left having a drink on a small bench beside the bar or in reception. We were told breakfast available 7-10am, but when we arrived at 9.30am, it was clear we were considered to be "late" and got the dregs of the food that was left and cold coffee. The female staff have to wear a traditional Austrian style uniform which I found to be completely outdated and somewhat humiliating for the female staff members. Overall the staff weren't over-friendly or particularly helpful. On a more practical level, the ski room wasn't locked during the day so we were a bit worried about leaving our kit there.
