Hotel San Lázaro

This was one of the worst places we have ever stayed. The problems started even before our arrival. We accidentally booked the wrong month (June instead of July) and contacted the hotel to see if the reservation dates could be changed. The staff were very rude and unhelpful, insisting that nothing could be done, and we would lose all the money. Fortunately, the Booking.com customer service team handled the situation professionally and resolved it quickly and kindly. When we arrived, the disappointment continued. The room was extremely small, the bed was old, hard, and uncomfortable, and there was a strong musty smell throughout the room. There was no air conditioning, making the stay even less comfortable. The pillow was very uncomfortable to sleep on. The service at the restaurant was equally disappointing. We went there to enjoy a glass of wine, but the waitresses behaved as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. They were unfriendly and dismissive, and the wine portions were ridiculously small barely a finger's width in the glass. To make matters worse, the property is located more than 2 km from the center of Santiago, making it much less convenient than expected. Overall, the combination of poor customer service, HIGH PRICE uncomfortable accommodations, and inconvenient location made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this property and would not stay here again.

Lite lågt bort från stan men bussen går direkt utanför så det är inga problem. Vi gick till Gamla stan och det tog ca 20-30 min beroende på hur fort vi gick

Tsja, we hebben 2x2 nachten doorgebracht in dit hotel. Wat een goede service, goed personeel, de bar en het personeel. De kamers perfect. Duidelijk een aanrader. Aan de route, in de poort naar het centrum. De route naar de Kathedraal.

The staff, location of the hotel on the airport bus route was a bonus. The large shopping mall behind the hotel. Outside the hotel, is the main route to Santiago Cathedral for walkers. The hotel is perfect for a few days sightseeing, while in Santiago.

No aircom would be a issue in the summer time.

Goede ligging om de stad Santiago de Compostella te verkennen. Vriendelijk onthaal, praktische kamer met goede bedden. Goed ontbijtbuffet.
