The fabulous large balcony and iconic location with gorgeous sea views and sound of waves. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay leaning toward mediocre. The soap and shampoos were great quality and the sheets crispy white and clean . Room is on the small aide and one wishes they incorporate some of the balcony as an extension! Hotel is old and charm is acceptable but could use a little upgrade. The AC and WiFi worked well. Parking was easy enough and close-by. Hotels need to find cheap or free ways to provide more water to guests. We loved the cupboard and lots of packing space if you wanted to unpack even though the side tables causes the door not to open completely.

THE HORRIBLE BEDS, they were rock hard. The staff tried adding a bottom duvet but that did not work-you need mattress toppers or softer mattresses-we left the hotel exhausted. The bathroom width is a challenge as you can’t even undress in there! There was an ant infestation which the staff acted on swiftly but during the first night we woke up with ants biting us. The light above the balcony door is quite bright at night with thin curtains. The TV was small with limited channels. Also must mention that the sea gulls are cute but boy can they made a noise right outside your door sounding like cats in heat! We are from Africa but this was strange! You need a coffee machine for this class of room please and your fridge can only take one or two item before it loses functionality.
