Hotel Holter Schloßkrug

The property is a lovely hotel with rooms separate at the back which is great for peace and quiet. The staff are extremely helpful. Food was wonderful and a good choice on the menu. The location near the castle and forest is lovely for walking. Thank you to all the staff for there tireless work and effort.

The rooms were basic, there were no hot drink facilities and as they were separate from the main hotel it was awkward to get any refreshment in the room. Water was provided but only sparkling, which I do not like. There was no iron and we were there for a party and could have done with one. Very minor issues and nothing spoilt our stay.

hotel should have invested in working wifi instead of luxury bathrooms. restaurant closed on monday and Tuesday, although I received twice an email telling me I should make a reservation for a table. no staff available at check in, key available from a safe with a code. it would be nice if would spell your name right on the envelope.... no telephone connection in the room. GSm calls only possible on the balcony, so also using own hotspot for internet is close to impossible.

Great value for money, clean and tidy accommodation in quiet location .

Restaurant is closed on two days a week. This is a great shame as the food here is Fantastic.

The staff are excellent and very helpful. Food and beer in restaurant is really good. English is spoken if needed. this is my first choice when travelling through or staying in the area.

Restaurant was closed, no staff on Monday and Tuesday, you have to pick up your key in a box and one of the tel nr you have to call to open the box is not available
