USThe hotel was lovely, and the staff offered help whenever I needed it. In fact, they went above and beyond. When a cab I needed to take to the airport at 1:30 AM didn't show up, the owner took me on the three-hour drive in his own car.
The hotel can be a bit hard to find (but the staff will assist you).

Locality. So crowded
INI had such a great stay at Living Roof Shillong! The location is perfect, close to all the main spots, but still really quiet and relaxing. The staff were super friendly and most importantly the owner Mr. Ankit and Mrs. Tamanna they were so good that they even went out to get some local wines for us, out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I could ask for, like a comfy bed, nice toiletries, and a coffee maker and even made sure for our safety and travelling, while returning.
Nothing it was perfect.
