Hotel Rheingerbe

We loved everything about this place. We had landed in Zurich the same day and were very tired. This was a wonderful place to start our trip. We were kindly given a wonderful upgrade to the suites with the bath. They are fabulous and I had a wonderful hot bath. We had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant and the food was outstanding. We had the duck and the lamb and the angus hamburger. All were delicious gourmet level. The service was wonderful and friendly. Christian, who owns the place with his sister, was kind and helpful and we had a wonderful talk with coffee which was also excellent. This is a fabulous hotel. Do not miss it if you are in the area. 18 kms from Rhein falls. There is plenty of parking 2 min walk from the place. The hotel is on the riverside and the sunset was spectacular.

Fantastic stay! The room was immaculately clean, the decor was cleverly orchestrated, light and fresh, well thought out and practical. Very comfortable bed. View from window was stunning. Great breakfast! Ten minute walk from the train station with magnificent views along the way! Brilliant staff!

Die Betten waren doch sehr einfach. Für eine Nacht aber total OK.

Tout est parfait, de l'accueil aux équipements. Le restaurant est également de tres bonne qualité.

The hotel was amazing but what made this stay enjoyable was how helpful, happy and nice the people who run the hotel are. Always ready to help and by far the best breakfast croissants ever. :)
