Anitha's Garden Stay

Good location and spacious room with lovely balcony.

Bathroom requires updating.

Breakfast was fine / location and staff fine

Only one problem. I really think they should have access to drinking water in the foyer. We purchased water of course but one night we were really caught out as I was unwell, staff were asleep of course and we really needed fresh water urgently . Most home stays has access to drinking water in Kerala .

Only likable things were the breakfast and the size of the room nothing else was good.

The location was almost 200 meters from the lighthouse beach, which was nowhere written in the description of the hotel, nobody will help with carrying of luggage, wifi access couldnt even reach the ground floor room. We had booked a room with a view, which was not provided because the guy on the reception told its full, even though we came exactly around check in time. After all this we requested that someone help us with carrying the bags in the morning as we had to check out at 5AM, the reception guy told us to call in the morning and upon calling he told us CANT DO !! 1. Dont book this property if you have heavy bags 2 Dont book this property if you want a view and wifi

To be fair to Anitha’s Garden Stay, what I could see looked looked amazing. At the staff was very helpful and attentive….

We were how ever due to over booking moved to a different hotel where our room (apparently the only one left) was utterly disgusting.

Clean, spacious, hot water and good Wifi. Well situated for the beach or a stroll along the front. Helpful staff.

Huge bathroom, huge bedroom and a beautiful private balcony ( marble floor all out), with sea view!❤️

Overall it was good. I liked the sound of waves in the early morning, it was pleasant to hear them. The location was very good.

Surroundings, Sometimes I sense a bad smell. That might be something, not sure what it is. Water was logging in the washroom, the facility guy said they will be repairing it soon.

We loved how big the room was. It was tastefully decorated. The balcony was very private. It’s set back off the strip so was pretty quiet. It’s the perfect place to stay in Kovalam.

Location and room were superb.

The communication with the staff was very poor.
