Very quiet and clean. Excellent swimming pools and saunas. Very good breakfast.

Nice and quiet place. Nothing fancy, but very functional. Good value for money. Thermal pool was an asset, as well as the Kneip pool and the sauna.

In general staff are a little cold. Nothing rude, just not very welcoming.

Comfortable place to stay, very big and clean apartment. Feels like in a cosy granny’s house.

Note that the hotel is very popular among elderly people and you may be the only young family there. We felt a bit uncomfortable with small kids as we didn’t want to disturb the calm atmosphere.

A beautiful and quiet town. Nice people. Breakfast...very good.

OMISSION OR SCAM?this is the question! The hotel presents itself as a 4-star hotel. You can also make reservations for apartments. That's what we did too. And because at the time of booking we are recommended to book another room, being 4 of us, we asked the hosts if we can, for a fee, all 4 of us live in the same apartment. The answer was positive! Upon arrival ... surprise: the apartment we were staying in does not look at all like the photos on the website. What's more, he wasn't even in the hotel. The apartment was in an annex of the hotel connected to the hotel by a kind of covered walkway. I booked an apartment with balcony, city view, 4 stars. I received an apartment on the ground floor, old furniture, no light, non-functional WC (you had to fill a bucket with water to draw water), very old equipment, with access from a small courtyard (to get from the reception to you were lost in the apartment), creaking bed, lacking in comfort and the Wi-Fi connection only works in certain places. We asked at the reception if all the apartments look the same and, despite the photos on the booking, we were told that they are all the same. But the next day...I noticed in the open apartments, where cleaning was done, that they were different. That's why I asked again for explanations at the reception. At that moment we were told that only the hotel rooms have a 4-star classification, the apartments not being classified. Obviously I asked for explanations. Why did I book a 4-star apartment and receive.....something that doesn't even fit 2 stars? The reception staff, otherwise extremely polite and attentive, explained to me that it was an omission and that the owner/manager of the hotel forgot to specify on the booking that the apartments have no classification. The hotel rooms have the hotel logo on the balcony. The apartments in the annex where I lived...NO. Our feeling was that we were staying in the apartment of someone who died recently.

Staff including the management in need of training. Very rude, very unhelpful very ignorant.

The staff, it became apparent from the first minute that this establishment is dog tolerant. It is not dog friendly. The manager explained that due to insurance issues no dogs allowed in the dinning room. We were obliged to take breakfast and evening meal outside on the terrace. We ordered two meals on the first evening the service was pathetic, and my meal only partially served. When I requested the outstanding salad it was brought and virtually slammed down in front of me with a word being spoken. The following morning it was slightly overcast, no table had been paid on the terrace, and the waitress on duty insisted it was raining so she would not lay a table, It was not raining at all, and we were between a rock and a hard place we cannot eat inside and no table outside, Eventually and with a face like thunder she laid a kind of table ... We shall never return , rest assured. It's a convalesces hotelier the elderly.
