The location with the view

Would have been nice to have an on site bar/communal area rather than just the restaurant which was pretty top end

Beautiful traditional hotel with stunning views and a lovely, flexible and helpful host. Fantastic restaurant and wine museum were the icing on the cake.

Welcoming, nice, comfortable room, lovely view of lake. It was near the centre.

I arrived exhausted from a long days hike. In that sense the location was fine. I was offered a bottle of water only after asking for it. The view from the room was nothing short of spectacular. However, no coffee, nothing. I ordered a take away from across the road. The hotel does not offer breakfast.

There was sewage smell from the bathroom.
