The staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was situated above the main bar and on the night we stayed it was karaoke night which was unimaginably loud and impossible to sleep.

"A nice old pub in a charming country town."

It was ok. But only continental. Nicely presented and a pleasant member of staff

I would have liked the option of cooked. Also we arrived on a Monday for an overnight. There was no evening dinner available.

Location.

Loud music and conversation could be heard till 1.00am. Told on arrival it would be a continental breakfast, the breakfast was poor, out of date yoghurt, tinned prunes or grapefruit. Cracked toilet bowl. Small old TV poorly placed in room. Plugged kettle in for a cup of tea and it tripped all the electrics upstairs. Overpriced.
