Cabañas Punta Placer

Fantastic location right on the beach. Really beautiful and relaxing hearing the surf roll in. All rooms have a porch with hammock, and views of the water. It's really a pleasant, calm and private setting, and feels a little more upscale than other properties in the area. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive and the room was kept clean. A really good value.

The lack of A/C was a bit tough at this time of year (the hottest), though I guess that depends on one's personal level of comfort. Food and drink are provided independently, so guests need to settle their tabs (in cash) at least daily. It would have been nice to have one bill for my entire stay.

Located directly on the beach. You fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the Pacific. The Cabañas are spacious, well equipped and very clean. We loved that it was quiet and peaceful.

it’s one of the few places in Mexico with some authentic flavor. Lovely cabañas, warm water, wonderful view.

the only thing that could improve is the breakfast, maybe offering some more sweets, like simple biscuits or bread with home made marmelade would be a nice addition

Location!!!! So close to the beach. Loved the beach chairs, umbrellas, and hammocks. Food from the restaurant on-site was amazing! Love seeing the local dogs running, playing up and down the beach each day.

No Air conditioning... understandable that A/C is not available due to the open concept. However, was really hot at night and hard to sleep. Also wish we could use credit card rather than cash, to pay for food and drinks.

Hidden gem! Private, quiet, amazing views, and friendly attentive staff. The breakfast chilaquiles with egg and dinner garlic shrimp with rice and salad were perfect seaside meals.

A few more hooks to hang clothes and bathing suits. That's all!

The location was phenomenal, the cabaña was beautiful, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our desires. We would happily recommend this place the people we love the most. I hope the memory of sleeping to the sound of the nearby surf never leaves me.

I could think a very long time without finding anything to complain about. I could complain about the ruckus made by the boat-tailed grackles in the morning, but that's not under the control of the business now, is it?

Punta Placer is an absolute gem! A truly exceptional place to stay. Everything was amazing, the room and balcony were incredible and the staff and service was so attentive and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough! Book it and see.
