Pine Haven

My family very much enjoy our stay at Pine Haven. There were enough beds to accommodate us, it was pet friendly, and the lake was lovely. We’re were roughly 20mins to the bridge. We definitely intend to return.

The place is nice and pet friendly, I was able to bring my little Yorkie with me.

I wanted to extend for 2 more days when I check in the staff in the office said there's another cottage that is available for the next 2 days they give me the number to call, I leave a voicemail and asked if I can transfer to the room that is available for the next 3 days. The person call me back but I already check in and just arrived to my cottage, I asked and she put me on hold for so long just to tell me that I am not allowed because we check in already and they have to clean if I transfer. I said I just got there sitting outside, and all my stuff is still in the car. She said I could extend for 1 more day. If there's a room that is available for the next 3 days, why I can't I extend. We went to book a room because of a fishing trip, but it was canceled due to weather. we are hoping to extend our stay so we can reschedule for the fishing trip because we are 4 hours away.

Everything for the kids was in a doable walking distance. Everything was clean in the cottages.

Upon check-in there were no more golf carts available. Also, our “neighbors” played loud thumping music until 12:45 am! There were also scantily clad people dancing extremely inappropriately.

Location near OC NJ and other Jersey Shore localities. Plenty of outdoor space for kids/dog to walk and play

Cottage was smaller than expected. If you are camping people might work but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend. Weather was bad and would have to stay indoors for a full day - we decided to leave a day early. They say they have activities for kids but (almost) nothing was organized for rainy days - missed opportunity for having more satisfied clients. There are year round rentals, it felt weird being in between people that prob lives there.

The cabin my family and i stayed at was wonderful, very clean, comfortable and all instructions were clear for check out. I wasn’t able to visit the pool but the lake and transportation was amazing and convenient!!

Loved our stay at Pine Haven. Clean accommodations and love the deck outside !!!!Family fun!!!!
