RelaxResort Kothmühle

Sehr schönes Resort in ruhiger Lage, großes Zimmer, schöner Naturpool, nachmittags Kaffee und Kuchen, Suppe.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful hills and fields around 10 minutes from any village of note which is great for peace/quiet, excellent for star gazing - be sure to catch sunrise/sunset! The surrounding area is well kept and perfect for a little stroll around. It's a very authentic feel to the extent that female staff wear traditional clothing, everyone is so helpful and friendly - special shoutout to the excellent Ivan. There's food and drinks readily available, long hours. Spa facilities - the brave can swim in the lake, there is an indoor pool which has an outdoor part too, a very well equipped gym & sauna. The spa area is open early didn't close until 11pm. Very easy parking.

The staff was very kind. The saunas were the highlight of our stay. It was all in all a very romantic and relaxing stay!

We had a big spacious room here which looked out over people sunbathing in the garden. We had thought this was a hotel with a spa, rather than being a spa hotel so were not prepared. A few niggles in that the key didn't work, and then the shower gel was empty, but these were quickly resolved. The breakfast was very nice, but the evening meal was very expensive for what it was, not much choice and then wasn't as expected. The hotel did have a lovely swing in a pear tree which was away from everyone so we could have some quiet time which was the point of visiting this hotel.

Superb breakfast/brunch on Sunday. Pools and sauna work till 23:00! That is something. The staff was amazing, fantastic service, very pleased. No problems with parking.

The smell of manure was terrible. Not possible to be outside or open windows.
