Hotel Sonnberg

Breakfast was excellent, location good and staff extremely helpful. Haven't been as nicely suprised by a hotel in a long time!

No complaints about anything.

Checkout at 10 am is a little early, but there was an option for late checkout. I’m not sure, though, if it would incur an additional cost.

Owner's attitude which was very friendly and welcoming. Also he was always available on the phone which was highly appreciated by us. Very clean and nice room.

A very nice family runs the hotel. Our room was about 23sqm, it is well designed and with a pleasant colour palette. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the mini golf court with nothing but greens, mountain views and water sound from the creek that is next to the property, it was soooo relaxing!!! A wonderful getaway from the city life!! Our booking included breakfast in the hotel, which includes large range of local food and keep having small changes everyday, eggs are freshly cooked and we can make special requests. The owner hosted wonderful dinners during our 2 weeks stay, the sparerib was so tasty. The hotel is very family and animal friendly, we can only recommend!

Not complain, only few suggestion: 1. the housekeeping should check the shampoo and shower gel bottles more often. They went quickly empty after we arrived for 2 days. It wouldn't be enough if we didn't have the habit to use our own toiletries. 2. It would be nice to have 2 keys for each room. Sometimes we go out for a walk without our son, but we always have to keep the door unlocked because we only have 1 key and it is not safe in emergency if we locked our son in the room; but the door can be opened from outside as well if it is not locked, so it is also not that safe to leave it unlocked, for instance, ppl open the door by mistake. So 2 keys for each room makes much more sense.
