The bathrooms were very basic. Given the location and the price the sink area and shower could all be improved in terms of the quality of fittings and the layout.

All of it. The lodge is beautifully decorated, the view from the room is stunning, the staff if very nice and our guide was very knowledgeable.

It was the second time we stayed at the Outpost. For us it is one of the best Lodges in South Africa. We like the open concept of the rooms and the landscape surrounding the lodge. It is just so relaxing being in Kruger without the traffic jams of the south. Maybe there are places to see more big 5 animals but going to the fever tree forest is just unique as have the sundowner on the banks of Limpopo River with the Hippos. If you are looking for a special experience, go there.

You have to be aware that if it is very hot - we had 40 degrees - the open concept of the rooms do not allow air conditioning. However there is always a breeze in the rooms.
