It’s location in the town was perfect. The bed was comfortable.

We were in room 3 which had a strange smell to it. Also the air conditioning unit dripped water all over the floor so we had to not use it on a hot evening and had to use the towels provided to prevent puddles of water gathering by the door. We knew the hotel was old and the rooms small, but it had the offer of secure paid for parking which was why we chose it over others in the town. We reserved a place with the hotel on making our booking and had a few message exchanges (in English and French) about cost, how to access it etc, so when we arrived and wanted to park it was really frustrating to be talked at in rapid French and from what little we understood being told to park in a public car park “over there” (indicated by pointing). When we checked out there was no opportunity to report the leaky air conditioning.

Best possible location in town. Property looks better in person than in the pictures. Comfy room, probably quite small but enough for one person. Great Irish Pub downstairs. Good breakfast. Totally wort it for the money.
