Kindness and availablity of the staff. Good wine suggestions. Very nice garden. Good menus selection. Great breakfast with homemade marmalade.

The entrance to the property is very untidy ,once in the building very tidy, but 1st apperance nearly had us move elsewhere, we are glad we stayed and will return. Dinner was pricey and disappointing.

The service was second to none. It is one of these rare places where one feels genuinely welcomed. The room was extremely comfortable, the Wi-Fi was great, the swimming pool fantastic. After a long day in the road, it was exactly what I needed. Food (Dinner and breakfast) was great. And the garden looks just fine to me - despite what some people might think - I think it adds to the character of the property.

It was quirky and the dinner we had there was excellent! The jacuzzi pool looked lovely too though I didn't really have time to use it.

It could have done with a bit of tlc in places, especially the grounds which have the potential of being stunning but are overgrown and unkempt.

Breakfast was super with a wide range of foods. The hotel had a lovely quirky feel to it. Dinner was super.
