Very bad service. They try to cancel us. Rip us off with kids. Extra charge for kids staying with us. Room has many bugs Room dirty. Room tires and rundown. Not recommend with family

Location, scenic river view, attentive staff

I and my friend chose this place to stay for a night we wanted to try their Michelin guide restaurant (which it is one of many in the town). However, the dining experience disappointed us. We’re assigned to the nice corner river view seat while there is a giant drain pipe underneath the terrace. When the food served, there’re SWARM OF GIANT HOUSE FLIES come to our table. We had one hand trying to enjoy my dinner and one hand wiping away the flies. The staff watched us struggling in eating and tried to help us with the fan and little candle which didn’t help at all. Finally, we requested to change the table, we still wanted to sit outdoor with view but they told us all fully booked but obviously it was empty that time. We tried not to think much about it until we found a jumbo size housefly in my friend’s boil rice soup and while she eating!!! The waitress apologized and changed with the new one. I made a complaint as it concerned with hygiene and they’ve Michelin guide label!?!! The restaurant asked for my email offering discount voucher to compensate about this . I do not care much because just wanted to address the problems. However, almost a month later i did not receive anything from the hotel that mean they did not care about customer’s experience at all. I did not take pictures as i just wanted enjoy my holidays but when it comes 2nd time. It need to express it.

Cozy hotel in the Michelin guide restaurant. No need to go out for food. Hotel has private area separated from restaurant customers. Staffs were nice and helpful

Lots of Mosquitos (hotel has mosquitos spray for free)

Great breakfast and good food at the restaurant. Friendly efficient staff, helped with trips and taxis Good location for sightseeing. Boat trip was well worth it.

Pool was ok for us to get in and out of but could be difficult for some.

This is a very different and unique hotel ,right on the river. There are great views of the river and a wide array of boat traffic to observe. The rooms are smaller than we expected. The bathrooms were good, but some maintenance and upkeep had been deferred. The bed was located in a corner, so the person next to the wall either slithered out the bottom or crawled over their partner, if they had to use the washroom during the night. Not a good situation for us older people. The full service restaurant was excellent with great food, a wide selection on the menu and full service. The hotel is not within walking distance of most shopping and / or restaurants, but only a short boat ride away. Would need to hire a water taxi to get to these other locations. As older people, this is a very good hotel, but we would not say a great hotel. Would recommend.
