the location was great being in the centre of the old town

room was old-fashioned and cramped. no breakfast and hotel had no other facilities.

I understand that it’s a old building but it would be nice to have someone to help with luggage and to have a refrigerator

We chose the hotel based on its central location. We were very pleased with that. This is a city that is really worth visiting. We ate breakfast at a sidewalk restaurant.

I booked this no refundable room when there were none others available. I really needed 2 rooms but thought we could squeeze in this one. I then found a two rooms that was in the neighborhood. I booked it as well (it was a refundable room). This booking is for the busiest time of the year during Christmas Market. I called the hotel and explained the situation and the clerk said he would ask the owner if he would refund the money anyway. I called back about a week later and he indicated they in fact WOULD refund my room.....the refund never came. When I arrived at the other location I visited the hotel and they denied having ever said they would refund it. I understand it was a non refundable room but to have actually said they would refund it and then not refund my room is inexcusable. Very, very disreputable people.

We had nice two days in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This hotel was directly in the centre of the city. Our room was with old antik furniture. It was clean and staff was friendly. Only disappointment is they have no breakfast, but we go to a small bakery close to the hotel.
