The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt there welcome. Exceptionally good meals and including the breakfast selection. The view from outdoor swimming pool was breathtaking. Great location.

Lack of towels in the sauna. Unnecessarily too hot in the dining area, not a big deal, but it would be more comfortable with lower temperature.

- Food was really good. Dinners ranged from tasty to Michelin-star type of gourmet menus. Especially soups were amazing. - Omelletes were by far the best we've ever had, including the ones at Ritz and WA. - The location was very convenient - plenty of hiking options next door. - Option to use the pool and facilities of its sister hotel - these were amazing. - The scent of the soap and shampoo was great!

- The hard product felt very basic and aged for a 4-star hotel. We requested a crib in our reservation but got an extra futon that was not suitable for a 1 year old so had to work around it. - Wellness closing 19:30 felt pretty early. 21:00 or later feels pretty standard elsewhere. - Pretty dark and basic room.

Family / cordial environment and professionalism at the same time! :-)

The request to pay for domestic water at dinner made me very sad, I have not encountered this before, especially in "family" hotels (this is more a privilege of snobbish hotels). It's not about the money. I find it debauchery to drink bottled water in the Alps, when the Alpine one is excellent. Drinking domestic water is also strongly ecological, so if domestic water was offered as standard / stood on the tables at dinner, people would not want the bottled / non-organic one. I would also recommend, and I said it on the spot, to fundamentally extend the drying times of ski boots, especially in the spring/start of the season, when skiers sweat more. Having damp/wet shoes in the morning is not pleasant and the whole day is bad.

tmibor negative. Central heating on the floors is very hot and even turning off the radiators at night and opening the windows wide at -10c too a long time to cool the room.

Great hotel. However, we booked hoping for childcare since it said it was included, but unfortunately, it wasn't. Dinner also took a night to get used to. It's a 5-course meal every night.

I liked the family feeling that this hotel has brought to us. The dog of the hotel, Oscar, which is always around , the little daughter of one of the ladies from the hotel, who was always playing around and made us laugh of how cute she was. At lunch time, they were also offering some food which we haven't paid for. The food was delicious and fancy. The rooms and the hotel in general, was very clean. We liked everything!

Is not a big minus and is not that I didn't like it, but more of an improvement would be the Wi-fi signal, which is not always the best.

Room with balcony to the north. A bit dark and a bit cold.
