Hotel Campiello

Lovely clean room. Excellent (pricey) food.

Bad attitude from the owner. The hotel was probably in its prime 15 years ago, and the owners were likely to have been enthusiastic. It seems they have lost interest. The hotel is renowned for its “extensive”wine list, however the bottles we requested were no longer available, and the list is not as extensive as it once was.

The hotel refused to issue my invoice despite the fact that I asked for it in my reservation. They sent me a message saying that they can do it but at the end of my stay they just gave me a receipt from the cash register. When I requested the invoice via email, they sent me SOMEBODY ELSE'S court documents - the receptionist attached the wrong document to my email. When I called, the receptionist did not want to hear anything, he said this is all correct and the only thing that he can send me. He yelled at me and then hung up the phone. I had to get it translated professionally to find out what the documents were because to me they did not look like an invoice - there were different personal details and my company details or my name were nowhere to be found. When I called the hotel repeatedly, the receptionist yelled and did not let me speak at all. I could not even explain to him that he sent me a document with a different person's personal details. I called multiple times but he did not pick up. On the next day he finally picked up and I actually managed to explain to him that the attachment he sent to me was something else. No apologies, no explanation, they just sent me a copy of my receipt again THAT I ALREADY HAD. So I gave up. Be careful about your personal details, this hotel sends out other peoples' documents to anyone. GDPR out the window. The behavior of this one receptionist completely overshadowed all other aspects of the hotel and all efforts of the other employees during my stay. Everyone else was lovely and went above and beyond to accommodate to my needs. What a shame.

Great big rooms with heigh ceilings and impeccably clean facilities. Amazing breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Note the policy that between 23:00 - 7:00 the hotel is closed; it’s not 24 hour access. Outside these times you cannot enter the hotel.

Everything was great. Friendly staff (family owned hotel and restaurant), clean rooms. Great food at the l’Osteria but also the Michelin guide restaurant is worth a visit!

Wifi is not stable and disappearing from time to time which is inconvenient when you travel for work.

Everything was good. Breakfast, clean premises, very helpful personnel.

The room was really small, but otherwise Everything was good.
