Cabot Pollensa Park Spa

There are ample parking spaces, the bike rental facilities are right within the building, it's a short walk to Pollensa Port, and it's got all the right facilities - sauna, swimming pool, and breakfast area. You can also see lots of triathletes, great as a training camp location as it's a short ride to Cap de Formentor.

Some of the facilities like the lobby and drinks area look slightly dated, there are a lot of children, and community centre type social events which may or may not be the right vibe. They also make you use a wristband system which feels a bit silly - instead of a card key you have a wristband that you have to wear for the duration of your stay.

It was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Even though the hotels clearly advertised Air Conditioning, it was not on. According to the staff, it wasn’t warm enough so the building was not getting any… The bedroom was very warm and a little uncomfortable, especially for the first night.

The hotel is very welcoming to cyclists. Bikes can be brought into the bedrooms, there is a bike rental and workshop just downstairs and an accessory shop in the lobby. There's also a convenient free cold water dispenser at the bar. There's a beautiful outdoor pool with plenty of beds and areas to chill in the sun, and a spa with sauna, pool, jacuzzi, steam room, etc. (it was quite noisy in there and awkward one must wear a swim cap). The buffet restaurant is amazing for breakfast (huge choices of foods) and dinner (although the quality of food for dinner is not outstanding, it's great to eat as much as you can after a day of sport!). Bonus: beer/wine is also included in the buffet.

My room was on ground floor; I did not mind not having the views or the balcony (that's why it was cheaper), but it was extremely noisy from bikes and buses outside from the early morning, and in the evening, from the bar and the hall. You have to pay extra for the bedroom safe. My shower screen was broken and they installed a curtain in a temporary way.

We were on the third floor which we have never been on before in room 300 and it was incredibly loud. We could hear everything in the corridor, stuff from other rooms and music and loud guests in the bar at night
