Hotel Garnì Gardena - Appartments

Gastvrije eigenaar, met tips hoe en of wat er te doen was in de omgeving. We arriveerde echt vel]el te vroeg, Was totaal geen probleem. We mochten er direct in. Ook de sauna was aangenaam, met een heerlijk terras om in de zon te liggen.

Helemaal niets.

Nothing

The staff at Garni Gardena were so very welcoming throughout our stay. It very much had a small lodge feel balanced with sufficient privacy. The room itself was spacious, clean and well equipped with the most amazing view over Santa Cristina and the Dolomites. The kitchen, although did not have an oven, allowed us to cook meals throughout the stay. The hotel itself is located in a very central location, easy to get to the bus stop (approximately 7 minute walk) to access just about anywhere in Val Gardena. It was also within walking distance of the local supermarket.

The beds only offered one pillow each, but a very minor con.

Das Frühstück ist für 16 Euro zu teuer. Die Einfahrt in die Tiefgarage ein Erlebnis. Die Lage ist einigermaßen ruhig. Schöne Sicht auf den Langkofel.

Location in St. Christina

No acceptable living room. Only a kitchen with a dining table. For €5000 per week in the low season I expect more comfort when booking an apartment with three bedrooms. This was a three hotel rooms setting with a connecting kitchen. That is not an apartment to my opinion.

Excellent location. Spacious studio. Nice and helpful stuff. Very convenient washing service. Beautiful views from balcony.

Poor day light in studio as there was only one door to balcony. Would have been good to know in advance that there are no soap etc in bathroom and that a week pass for public transportation is included. However, these are minor compared to this lovely place.
